Pink is the result of mixing red and white and can simply be thought of as "light red."

Pink has an immediate calming, tranquilizing effect, dissolving conflicts and aggression. Jails have been painted pink to prevent fights, and a coach was known to paint the visiting team's locker room pink to sap their energy. However, this effect is temporary, and – perhaps due to its constituent red – can lead to more aggression in the long run rather than less. Pink also represents romance and soft-heartedness.
